The Sunrise Grapefruit is a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants, with its sweet taste that will be hacked in your mind. A grapefruit with a shiny golden bronze and red peel, smooth scarlet red pulp and full of juice content and brix levels, the Iranian-grown Sunrise Red Grapefruit retains its rich color year-round.
The grapefruit is a subtropical citrus tree known for its sour to semi-sweet fruit. Grapefruit is a hybrid-originating in Barbados as an accidental cross between two introduced species, sweet orange and pomelo or shaddock, both of which were introduced from Asia in the seventeenth century. When found, it was named the “forbidden fruit”; and it has also been misidentified with the pomelo.
